The best shopping centers in London


Another great option for a rainy day is to visit one of the many shopping centers in London. One of our favorites now is Westfield Stratford City, located in Stratford east of London, near Olympic Park. This modern shopping center opened in 2001, and is one of the largest urban shopping centers in Europe. Some of the attractions of Westfield Stratford City include giant John Lewis stores, a Marks & Spencer, a large Waitrore supermarket and a large Vue cinema. Do not forget to visit the Olympic Park, where the Summer Olympics were held in 2012, before or after shopping.


London has other fantastic shopping centers such as Westfield London, famous for its size and located to the west of Notting Hill; the great shopping center of Brent Cross on the outskirts of northwestern London; and the Whiteleys shopping center north of Kensington Gardens, with stores like H & M, Toys R Us, Victory Vintage, HMV and an Odeon cinema.
